Customer Reviews
So far I have only put about 10 through it and I am more than happy!!! First new bow in over 5 years and I am sold on the SAS brand. Hunt, target and fun, I have had no complaints about my Feud. But, After getting the wife and daughter their own bows, She said it was my turn for a new one. I thought about the Outrage but felt this one was it. And I am not disappointed. I won't be able to use it for the end of this season, but I will have it ready for spring season and already am excited . The draw is perfectly smooth, holding it once it locks in is not wearing on your arm, and the release has very little vibration. Out of habit I put in limb dampeners, but to be honest, it didn't need them. I dialed it down to 60# and it lobbed 31 inch target tips over halfway down the shaft into a compressed foam layer target at 30 yards!! About 4 more inches than my Feud was doing at 55#. Great quality again and just reinforced why I am not changing to another company any time soon. I started out with Bear in the 90's, got my feud about 7 years ago, and sticking to SAS ever since.
I was on a budget buying this bow and let me say I’m so happy I chose this one, such a smooth draw and super quiet, I started with an old PSE Nova and was so nervous that I was wasting money on a cheap bow, but this thing has yet to disappoint me, I shoot pretty frequently with other guys and they all can’t believe that I only spent $300 on my bow and got one of such great quality, will definitely be purchasing from SAS in the future
so far its a great shooting bow, it finds the sweet spot very easy in your hand, draws smooth. I haven’t crono-ed the speed yet but at 60lbs it seems pretty fast. Zero vibration with limb savers installed. For a “low end bow” it is on par with every bear, pse, golden eagle, hoyt that i have ever shot. Build quality it spot on nothing loose all servings are good and tight no cam lean. I have run about 300 shots through it and its a shooter for sure. I don’t know about the rest of the SAS lineup but if they are anything like this one then go for it.
The fit and finish of the SAS Destroyer can ONLY be compared to a bow costing 3X its price. its fast, quiet and dead in the hand. Great job guys!
